Welcome to Volitation!
I’ve said it before and I’ll keep saying it: I am far more artist than author.
However, I am inflicted with stories and characters, so I will still attempt to put pen to paper to get my ideas down. Volitation has been and very much still is a work in progress. Updates will not be consistant and chapters are subject to change in the future.
My only and longest running story is Volitation.
The story follows a girl named Avi, who is having the worst Spring Break of her life. After the harrowing experience of traveling with her family, Avi is kidnapped and experimented on, giving her wings and making her a little less than human.
To make things worse, she is held captive in a zoo where people see her as just an animal. While there, she meets a boy named Lee who is in the same situation, wings and all. Together, the two plan to escape and find their way back home.
Volitation is a work of fiction with dark themes, including but not limited to depictions of gore, mental/physical/emotional abuse, mental distress, death/murder, animal death, self harm, dehumanization, mentions of transphobia, torture, body horror, mentions of suicide idealization, learned helplessness, cannibalism, and conditioning, not necessarily in that order.
If you are sensitive to these themes, it is probably best that you don't proceed and click out of this page.
If you aren't sensitive to themes, enjoy the show!
